Regent Avenue. Lytham.
Here we have topo of the range Keller GL7000 High Gloss Lacquer in colour Fango with Kuppersbush appliances and Corian worksurfaces.
Our brief was to remove an internal wall and merge the kitchen and dining room but we don’t believe for a minute our client had ever imagined what we’d come up with as a design because so many people just accept that the sink must be under a window and presume the hob and extractor needs to be on an outside wall. So dispelling those myths we laid hot and cold and waste pipes and extractor ducting into the floor and we put it all in a large island. The Wolf Downdraught Extractor rises up from the work-surface when being used and retracts when not in use. The island is 4.2 metres long x 1.2 metres wide (and that excluding the adjoining table) and highlights the benefit of Corian in that the joints between the sections cannot be seen as they would be in stone or laminate. Included within our brief was 32M2 of porcelain floor tiling and digitally and thermostatically controlled electric underfloor heating and the fitting of patio doors and total redecoration. The clients wisely chose to go abroad for the fortnight – can you imagine there reaction when they got home to see such a transformation?
