This property in Lytham St Annes benefitted from a good deal of daylight coming via a new extension with patio doors and Velux skylights so it was an easy decision not to have a conventional kitchen window but to fit what we call a letterbox window high up so freeing valuable wall space for wall units and an extractor. And as it happens giving a good deal of privacy too and removing the need for blinds.
The new fitted kitchen is synthetic gloss white in the modern handless style and the worksurfaces a polished 20mm thick quartzstone.
There is an integrated dishwasher to the left of the sink and within the bank of tall units with the vertical handles there is an integrated fridge and freezer and the Neff slide and hide oven features with its matching combination microwave/grill.
The clients (like some others do) waited until the very end before choosing a colour for the bespoke toughend glass splashbacks but I never thought to ask at the time of taking the photos if the orchid came before the glass and was the inspiration or after as a coordinated accessory. Either way; lets hope the Orchid enjoys the same long life of 20+ years you can expect to get from a quality Keller kitchen.
